The apples are getting ripe. Right now we have the following fruit in the orchard salesroom.
- Honey Crisp apples–We typically sell out of Honey Crisp within a week or two, so don’t wait to get yours. They are a crisp, sweet-tart, tasty eating apple. A favorite of many people. These apples are difficult to grow and handle, but are worth the trouble.
- Pippin apples–Pippins are the largest apples we grow. They are green and somewhat tart primarily used for cooking. They aren’t pretty, but make great applesauce and apple butter.
- Laurel Red apples–We don’t have many of these very nice eating apples. We have customers who wait all year for them.
- Gala apples–one of our most popular sweet, eating apples.
- Moon Glow Pears–one of our larger eating and cooking pears.
- Asian Pears–crisp, long-lasting
- Purple seeded grapes
- Yellow Peaches—We are at the tail end of the peaches for 2019. If you don’t get some this weekend, count them gone. Call the orchard before you come for them. 256-437-9254.

Pam, Brett may bring a few.
Will you have any honey crisp at the Guntersville farmers market tomorrow?
There won’t be very many bags, and they will sell out early.
Will you have honey crisp apples tomorrow at the orchard or at the Winchester farmers market??
Richard, we will have a few bags of Honey Crisp at the markets, but expect they will sell out early. We will have some in the orchard salesroom, but I recommend you call before you go. 256-437-9254.

What is the price of a peck of HoneyCrisps?
Sara, I am out of town right now. I am unsure what sizes they are selling in the Honey Crisp. Please call the sales room between 8 and 5 for sizes and prices. Thanks! 256-437-9254
Do you ever do homeschool group field trips and if so, what is the minimum size requirement? I have a second and pre-K that would love to visit ur orchard for the letter “a” for apples 🙂 Feel free to contact me, 321.266.7081
Sorry, Kelly, but we do not provide tours or field trips due to liability and no available staff to provide them.
